Another day and another contradicting report about Apple’s fifth generation iPhone. Bloomberg reports that Apple will launch the next generation iPhone in September.
According to Bloomberg, iPhone 5 will get the faster dual-core A5 processor that powers iPad 2 along with an 8-megapixel camera, up from the 5-megapixel camera in iPhone 4.

The device will include the A5 processor, the more powerful chip that Apple added to the iPad 2 earlier this year, along with an 8-megapixel camera, up from the 5-megapixel model in the iPhone 4, said the people, who asked not to be identified because the details aren’t public.
According to Bloomberg, iPhone 5 will come pre-installed with iOS 5 codenamed “Tellurideâ€, that was unveiled at WWDC 2011 couple of weeks back, which includes more than 200 new features such as iMessage, revamped notification system with Notification Center, PC Free and lots more.
Bloomberg’s sources claim that iPhone 5 will resemble iPhone 4, which contradicts yesterday’s rumor that claimed that Apple is planning to launch iPhone 5 with ‘radical new case design’.
As we mentioned yesterday, so far we’ve heard conflicting reports about next generation iPhone’s form factor. According to some reports, next generation iPhone will be completely redesigned and will look more like iPod Touch 4G rather than iPhone 4. While, some reports claim that fifth generation iPhone will come with improved specifications such as faster processor, 8-megapixel camera etc. just like iPhone 3G andiPhone 3GS, but won’t feature an all-new design and will look like iPhone 4.
Bloomberg also reports that Apple is also working on a cheaper version of the iPhone.
The report also claims that Apple is working on a higher resolution screen for iPad 3.
The screen resolution on Apple’s new iPad would be about one-third higher than that of the iPad 2 and will boast a more responsive touchscreen, one of the people said.
